Elbow strike sequence by shinsengumi77 Elbow strike sequence by shinsengumi77
If you use any of my poses, it'd be nice to be credited. Thanks in advance! ;P

I used this as a quick warm up. Elbow techniques are some of my favorites. If I drew better I would show some sweet trapping elbows, but oh well...sequence is (poorly drawn) frontal elbow (strike), reverse elbow (thrust), preparation for throw.

Thank you very much! :D
Not really...I wouldn't know what to do it about, and my methods aren't really good to imitate, I think. ^^;

It may not be a step by step deatal but the pose in each of them are good. Have you been in marshal arts? Sometime when I'm in my marshal arts class I would draw out the forms just to get an idea as to how it works. I hope you can see what I'm saying.

Yes I've practiced several different martial arts, and my work is highly influenced by them.

You draw them during class? ^^;

Sorry no, I draw the forms and poses after class, and visit other people and there classes when they let me. It would be vary rood if I did it in class when I should be helping or practicing.

It boggles my mind when people are able to get close enough to actually use elbows.

Great work.

In Wing Chun fights typically take place at a distance of about two feet, and practitioners are taught to get inside very quickly, so elbows are maybe more applicable. (And trapping elbows can be used at a little more distance when paired with other techniques that are used to bridge the gap.)

Thanks, I just wanted to showcase my favorite techniques. :D
